A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday after a recent disclosure of a rare leukemia diagnosis.

The sad news was shared in a public statement from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Understanding the Condition
Within a recently published piece this past fall, Schlossberg revealed that she had been found to have a type of blood cancer with a uncommon variant.
This form of cancer is a disease that targets the bone marrow and blood cells.
